This past Memorial Day weekend, me and my family decided on a whim we were going to spend the weekend at the beach.
That's kind of a big deal for us. We all have busy, complicated lives and our schedules don't typically allow us to take a (mini) vacation together. We had family flying in, and we decided we could all use a fun, relaxing time at the beach.
Every time I go I leave a bit of my heart in Barcelona and depart with the promise of returning sooner. There are world-class museums, resturants, and plenty of sites to see. But this author's craving for loud music, skantily-dressed beautiful people, and the Three D's (drinking, dancing, and debaucery) means that morning/early afternoon/early evening trips to the museum are always in jeopardy while in Barcelona.
