I've learned so much about myself and life in general in the past 5 years. You always hear people saying, "Life is what you make it." That's partially true. Some of the circumstances you find yourself in are totally out of your control. How you respond to them matters the most. When life knocks you down, get back up, over and over again. When friendships and relationships arent going as planned or end, take that chance, move forward, love again and again. When that job doesnt work out, be creative, think of new ideas, apply for jobs, keep striving continually.
What's taken me so long to realize, is that my attitude is all that matters. If things dont go as well or as planned, though in reality it may be a disappointment, brush it off, learn from it and move forward. Only allow individuals in your circle who value you, whose iron sharpens your iron, who plans to be in your life not haphazardly, but on purpose. Maintain confidence not in people or things, but believe in yourself, love yourself, and encourage yourself. The right job or business will come, the right friendships or relationships will come. Hold steady, and in the right time, things will come together. In the meantime, live life, meet with friends and new people, enjoy it, laugh a lot, be light, be spontaneous, dont take life too seriously. Life has enough serious moments without us adding more.
For every negative, there is a positive. Choose to view that glass as half full, and fill it up the rest of the way with positivity. Be grateful, and enjoy!
