A Room of One's Own.

The recent post by Skillologist "artisticexpressions" prompted me to think about the importance of fashioning a space to create. As a poet I understand the importance of space and light in encouraging the muse. I'm an advocate of Virginia Woolf's wisdom: "A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write [fiction]." Here, I'm just sharing an idea of what my ideal study would look like sans the bed of course! :) I wish you all luck in finding your right mood, movement and muse!

You know what? Oddly enough, I think I like this space. I dont know if it's the somewhat vintage look with the different textured/patterned fabrics scattered around the room, or my absolute love of natural lighting. Good find. I want to see your finished product at some point.

What a fabulous space! I love the rustic feel to the space. And I love all of that beautiful, natural light. Of all of the vacation spots, I love the mountains and this space reminds me of that - like a true escape. I wish you all the best on creating your own creative space. I'm still working on mine. :-)

Thank you, Elisabeth! Maybe we should plan an entrepreneur's retreat in the mountains sometime! :)
