About me

I am an aspiring writer leaning toward the craft of poetry most recently. I am moved by the beauty of the arts. Writing, photography, music, movement and dance - anything that can translate experience and emotion into a form that we all understand - are my particular passions. I hope to someday use my talents to create educational programmes where students feel included, accepted and valued for the very different minds they all have. Much travel thrown in would be fabulous too!

What are your favorite things to do in your spare time?

Wandering someplace new and observing the positive interactions and love around me. Writing about and photographing these exchanges. Day-dreaming and dancing my way into a higher vibration.

What motivates and inspires you?

Change inspires me. How the mood of a room changes when one person walks in. The two o'lock light on a clear winter's afternoon. The efforts we all make to grow and become that person we think we can be when we first awake with each new day. The changing of the seasons. I am interested in what keeps us going when we're at our lowest. How we evolve. How we self-actualize. All these move me, give me hope and what I have always sought to do is craft ways to immortalise these moments.

If you were given a trip for the weekend (all-expenses paid), where would you go?

This is as difficult as deciding which are my favourite books. I believe I'd prefer a place/environment that will leave me rejuvenated and more in tune with myself and my surroundings. So, maybe a spa/yoga/meditation retreat somewhere with lush and almost untouched natural surroundings. Perhaps, Costa Rica, Peru, Kenya or Ghana.
