I know there was a lot that you were exposed to during your time in Kenya, but were you able to ascertain what a good life for them would be ---- like our American Dream? Most Americans have a perception of what "success" is, but I am curious to know what their views may have been for success.
Success for them is love (especially among family versus romantic relationship), having employment, supporting one's family so they can have food and shelter, being able to afford and pursue high school and college education, and peace.
With those few things, one is successful.

I haven't answered that. I wrote pages and pages of diary entry on my trip but haven't had a chance to expound. It's a trip that truly has a huge place in my heart so I had to write something, but can't seem to find the time to write everything unfortunately.
