Life: In Perspective

For most struggling entrepreneurs, dreamers, students and 9-5’ers, life can often become a repetitive series of 24-hour cries for sanity and relief.  Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months and your entire existence turns into a gradual walk down a meaningless road of defeat.

Starting a Business? 7 Things You Can Absolutely Do Yourself

A new craze sweeping the innovation nation is the “DIY” (Do It Yourself) movement. I believe this was formulated from the notion that we are more skilled, creative and able than we give ourselves credit.  Or alternatively, we are more lazy, unmotivated and reliant than we would like to admit.

An Open Letter to 26

I’ve been Christina, Chrissy, Chris, Sturdi and C. Sturdi. I’ve tried to identify my identity, being last of three with two males before me. I was a tomboy.  Now, I’m just undefined.  I wear sneakers to work and flats on dates.  I wear dresses and heels when I’m feeling pretty and hoodies when I’m feeling beautiful. I am comfortable.

Ideally, this is the feeling that most entrepreneurs have when they’ve created a successful business. So why aren’t all young creatives jumping the 9-5 ship, diving into their dreams and starting their own businesses?

What Are Your Clothes Signing You Up For ?

According to dictionary.com, a signature is a person's name, or a mark representing it, as signed personally or by a deputy, as in subscribing a letter or other document.

Hopefully, many of my fellow Skillologists will be John Hancockin’ a lot of important legal documents, contracts and checks in the near future. But until then, many of us are marking our signatures for potential deals even if we don’t realize it.

Just a Theory: The Choice is Ours

What do you really want?

Is it so far-fetched that we may consciously step into the future choosing to have what we really want, right now?

I am challenging myself with an important question as it pertains to life and business goals in general, and I challenge you to do the same.

I'm asking myself first and foremost, "What can't I see that I ought to see?"

I feel that, as a daily practice, we must call forth 1) clearer vision and 2) the possibilities of increased abundance.
