It's true -- you're never too young or too old. According to this, all you need is the backing of $300,000 (lol -- still, very impressive)

Ethereal Predictions for 2012

It's about to get real. Or not. We'll see. But 2012 will soon be upon us. And I can't help but think this year will represent more significant change for humanity than we've experienced cumalatively in recent times. I'm not talking about Hollywood's fascination with end of world scenarios either. But rather, the writing, it seems, that's on the wall.

Poem: The End of Times

Imagine if you will.
Familiar ground trembling beneath your feet
giving way to sought knowledge.
Towering down upon you is an avalanche of truth.
Molten awareness seeps from the cracked shell of power
covering dirt upon the earth.
The conscious lava flows north, like the Nile, towards the crown
setting fire to the surface that is your past perception.
Fearful some may be as it rains ashes that beget darkness.
But this is nature's process.
The wind blows,
ashes fall on newly minted ground; Behold.
Fertile soil.

Just a Theory: "Ignorance is Bliss"

The more you know the more susceptible you are to going bat crazy. Hence the phrase "ignorance is bliss." While a yearning curiosity to understand the world around you is admirable (and an act which can help usher forward progress for all of humanity), maintaining sanity and objectivity simultaneously is a complex skill one must also learn to acquire. It shouldn't be taken lightly. Otherwise, for your safety and for the safety of others, you might as well remain ignorant.

Just a Theory: "Confidence"

Confidence is being well-versed with knowledge of yourself, being an objective observer of your strengths and weaknesses, and realizing that your critics don't necessarily have all the facts. It's not looking to others for approval of any sort. Confidence is acknowledging your own worth. // #ROAR lol

Skyline Muse

She danced wryly in the wind
She sang a familiar song
I adored her unique style
And I wanted to hold her close
We were ever so close
The setting was right
Perhaps even prophetic
But we'd just met
Both still catching the beat
I observed her glowing tempo
And her accented quarter notes
Nice rhythm!
I wanted to dance too
And then I caught her stare
Perhaps she caught my stare
That was the chorus
Followed by the first verse
She spit 16 bars with just a smile
The chorus ensued

How to Blog: Blogging Tips for Beginners

Have you thought about starting a blog? If so, you're in luck.  My friend Susan Harris, a published writer, professional blogger, garden coach, and budding filmmaker (see the film we co-directed last year) wrote an excellent article on blogging basics.

Born Brilliant

This quote by Simon T. Bailey, author of Release Your Brilliance, is one of my favorite personal guiding principles and an insightful piece of advice for Skillologists:

As One

Here is a reflection on collective spiritual transformation I wrote about a year ago, slightly revised and re-posted. I truly believe the world as we know it is coming to an end. Not THE END, but the end of a cycle. The end of time as we know it to be. I believe world events are directing us to elevate our collective consciousness for the betterment of all creation on Earth...  and so I continue to explore, like many, the universal truths shared by religions, philosophies, and science.
