Show your creativity like a 4-year old!!!!

So many of us have talents that we keep hidden within our own environment, never letting the world view it's beauty.  There are many reasons individuals hide their talents.  Sometimes it's due to fear of how individuals will receive it, convincing ourselves that nothing is special about it, or simply thinking that no one would want to see it.  Art in any form is beautiful because it shows expressions, feelings, perspectives, messages, and etc., that people are able to enjoy, relate to, and learn. It  doesn't matter what age, gender, ethnicity, religion, or background you are, you can create art.  Let art be a representation of you, showing your fun side, your exciting personality, and your internal creativity.

I wanted to share this article about a 4-year old that has a solo exhibition (with art up to $30,000 dollars), in hopes that it encourages you to jump into your creative side and show us your beautiful master piece.

Wow... that's awesome.

Wow... that's awesome. Couldn't agree more. We're all instinctively creative and gifted.

I know im late posting, but I meant to last week. The one thing that I love about children is that they use their talents without even noticing many times. They pay NO ATTENTION to what people think, they just do it! This is definitely inspiring. I have many gifts and talents of my own that I do not do much with. Part of it is because of nerves and the other part is that I have so many that it's difficult for me to focus on just one. I want to do so many things with them, but I just dont know where to start.

However, if we could all just become like children and "just do" we'd find that "working" would no longer be necessary because our "gifts will make room for us." Next goal: exercising my gifts and talents and finding my niche. Im trying to be like that 4 year old and let my gifts bring the money to me.

Awesome story! I share your

Awesome story! I share your sentiments Caoihme. So many gifts unused due to so many thoughts - too much attention - to myself. I must say I respect the attention of her parents to her talent. I believe our talents are suppressed far before we're actually ever aware of it. Many parents not having the time to spend with their children to notice such gifts or they grow impatient with their kids and settle them into a corner to only watch TV so they would stop drawing on the walls or stop beating on the kitchen pots. Little Aelita's sanctuary was an open canvas for her. Paint on the doors, walls, ceiling, and floor. Could we have perhaps been the next Picasso or Mozart if given the freedom to create and explore without being told to sit down and be quiet, stop touching everything? Would it have been different if you had a sanctuary to yourself to be creative without limits?
