Deception is what you see
What you're thinking to be real
The way they spoke intently
Your heart they'd quickly steal
A flirtation back and forth
Made you feel good inside
Cuz they seemed to see the north
Of what you thought had died
Giving you heaps of attention
Texting you all day long
Never did they stop to mention
How they were doing you wrong
You were having a good time
Allowing things to go deeper
Forgetting there's a fine line
Forgot reality, fantasy seeker
Look before you leap
Explore all of your options
Prematurely falling steap
Crash into liar concoctions
Seek to look past a flattering tongue
Cuz yes men are only for some
Ill intentions hidden by handsome
Cuz you were never their only one
See past the fantasy for something real
Something grounded that evil cant steal
Let time do it's thing to reveal
Reality past fantasy, what's sealed!
